What does AI really hold for the future

Artificial intelligence AI is already in existence. To some people, they are waiting for robots to fly around doing chores, think and decide for you, but guess what it already decides for you.  You receive a mail and even get a reply waiting for you based on the content of the mail, shopping history is recorded and when next you want to shop it brings out suggestions on what product you are likely to buy based on your history. However, humans so far have been making decisions for themselves, good and bad ones, some say AI can make better decisions, others disagree. What does AI really hold for the future?

AI in education

With AI in education, the better intelligent system has been put in place to advance education and better technique to tutoring has been invented. With AI in education several conversational platforms have been built this has gone a long way to discover patterns and learn what makes students bore, or active in class and this has also fostered inter-relationship between students.

 

AI in employment

Is AI taking away jobs from humans, now, absolutely not, in the future maybe, just maybe. But on what foundation are we speaking from. According to some AI scientist, AI will only take control of some low skilled jobs that are repetitive and it could learn the process. This will reduce jobs by 30%, years to come, the involvement of AI will create for more opportunities like interface software, and more and this will create millions of job opportunities in the future.

Finally, AI in decision making

Some say in the long run AI could master independence and live on its own making decisions and acting on hem solely without human interventions, that one day AI could take over the military, even set up its own militia. However, some AI scientist don’t discard these fears but they said that these fears/ doubts have been founded on the wrong basis, and could, in fact, hold us back from allowing the AI maintain our worlds than we humans have done.

Undoubtedly, AI should have foreseen that tapping from the rain forest and another ecosystem will have an irreversible negative effect and degrade our planet. It apparently would have found a better way to harvest natural resources and check the odds before attempting to mine and this would have saved us from last minute cure as we have found ourselves doing now. That doesn't mean some ethical rules should not be made. Efforts are being made to place rules down by governing bodies.

Is AI really the future of humanity. Will it save humanity from its shortsightedness
